Hi!

I'm Maureen — an intuitive Birth Doula and Reiki Practitioner who believes that pregnancy and birth are powerful and deeply personal experiences.

My path to birth work began long before I officially became a Doula. As a mom, I've lived the emotional highs and unexpected turns that come with bringing a baby into the world. My own birth journey taught me how powerful it can be to feel seen, supported, and truly heard in those vulnerable moments—and how much difference calm, compassionate presence can make.

With education and experience in healthcare, I understand both the medical side of birth and the deeply human side. I provide evidence-based guidance along with intuitive, heart-centered care. Through Reiki and mindful support, I help create an environment of calm, trust, and balance so you can connect with your body's innate wisdom and move through labor feeling safe and confident.

My goal is for you to feel fully supported in every way—emotionally, physically, and energetically. This is your birth, your experience, your story. I’m here to walk beside you with grounded presence, advocacy, and gentle encouragement as you step into your strength and stay rooted in your truth.

I believe that birth is more than a physical process. It is a profound transformation. My role is to offer steadiness, compassion, and gentle guidance so you and your family can move through this experience feeling grounded and connected.

When I'm not supporting families, you can often find me sipping coffee, walking in nature, doing Pilates or playing board games and watching movies with my family.  I bring that same energy and presence into each client connection.

  • Becoming a mother to my daughter was an awakening.  My daughter's birth was a wild ride - full of love, intensity and moments that stretched me beyond what I thought I could handle.  That experience became my teacher.  It showed me how deeply people need steady, nurturing support in the middle of life's biggest transitions. Reiki deepened that understanding, helping me see how energy flows through life and how gentle, intuitive support can make all the difference. From our start to now, my connection with my daughter continues to help guide me in nurturing others to be empowered through life's beginnings.text goes here

  • Absolutely.  I know that every birth is unique, and every family deserves support that feels right for them.  Whether you're planning a home birth, medicated, unmedicated, cesarean or something in between - my role is to support and advocate for your choices and help you feel informed, empowered, grounded and safe throughout our time together.

  • Pregnancy and birth are truly one of life's biggest transformations - body, mind and spirit.  Reiki allows me to provide you with a gentle way to trust and stay balanced every step of the way.  I think of Reiki as a quiet layer of grounded energy that complements the emotional support of doula work and meets you where you are each time we connect.

  • I LOVE a slow morning and, at this point in my life, I understand they can be few and far between!  When I get this chance I spend my time with my family watching our favorite shows, reading, sipping coffee and snuggling with our two dogs.
